Welcome to Mrs. Resta's Math Site
My teaching career started in New York, then New Jersey and now North Carolina, where we have been for the past 23 years. My husband Frank and I have 4 children: Frank, Katelin, Ashley and Christopher. They range from 33 years old to 25 years old. We are so lucky that they all live here in the Raleigh area. We also have a granddaughter- Ruby is her name. Ruby is 16 months old. Our family spends lots of time together,- playing board games, hanging out & cooking delicious food. We are lucky that all 10 of us love to cook!!
This summer was very relaxing. We spent a lot of time at our friends beach houses. We spent 10 days in Roatan, Honduras. We stayed in a Treehouse with 5 other couples. It was so much fun. We were lucky enough to go snorkeling, fishing and went on a sailboat cruise. Towards the end of summer break, we spent 10 days in Ireland and had a lot of fun. We got to see many castles and awesome sights.
This is going to be a terrific year. I love to get to know ALL my students and have fun sharing stories about my "CRAZY" family and my life experiences.I hope you will share some things about you and your family as well.
I do ask that we treat one another with kindness and respect. I am a big advocate of 3 important words...
PLEASE and THANK YOU!!
I look forward to seeing your sweet, smiling faces in a little over a week!!
